Flights

You'll fly into Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE). While some direct flights are available, most routes connect through cities like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Orlando, Panama, or Bogotá. Don't forget your passport! Major airlines that fly to Medellín include: COPA, Delta, United, and American Airlines. We strongly suggest converting some cash to Colombian Pesos, as there are still places in Colombia that only accept cash.

About Colombia

Colombia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, ranking second in the world in biodiversity. Full of great food, incredibly kind people, a lovely climate, and lots to do, it's a great place to take an extended trip if your schedule allows. If not, you will still enjoy a sampling of Colombian culture at our wedding.

Lodging

We will provide more info regarding hotel blocks, AirBNBs, and more closer to our wedding.

Getting Around

For getting around Medellin to sightsee, walking and the transit system are both great options. If you prefer wheeled transport, Uber and inDrive are both reliable apps (inDrive will require cash, but it is often cheaper. Make sure to sit in the front seat!). Please order taxis from official taxi stands (ie airport/malls) or have a restaurant/hotel call you a taxi. We caution you to not waive one down in the street.
